| Many functions optimized and new features added: Express Resizer: Quickly resizes images graphically without having to enter size or percentage parameters. Just open the image in the image viewer by double-clicking the image box, then double-click image in the viewer window to fit the window (if not already sized to fit). Adjust the window size by dragging the edges. When the desired size is reached, just drag and drop the image into the target document (or into the main textBEAST window). The pixel dimensions for the resized image are now displayed in the status bar. Smarter Navigation of Viewer Window: If the user changes the main window page or library while the Viewer window is open, and then flips to the next/prior image in the Viewer window using the arrow keys or mouse wheel, the main window will automatically return to the page where the image is located. Selectable Minimize to System Tray Option: Users can now decide whether clicking the red "X" in the upper right corner of textBEAST will close the program or minimize it to an icon in the system stray. This can be selected in the options menu. Users can also minimize to system tray from the File menu or with the keyboard shortcut ctrl+M. Smarter Behavior If Already Running: If textBEAST is already running and minimized, attempting to start it again will show the original window instead of a message that it is already running (except in Windows 98 and Me). Crop Menu Functionality improved. |
